Adah Sharma, who was born on 14th May 1987, is just getting her feet wet in Bollywood.

The actress, who is 5’5” tall made her debut in a horror flick 1920 (2008), which was directed by Vikram Bhatt. 

A graduate in Psychology and an adept dancer – she has trained in Kathak at the Gopi Krishna’s Dance Academy – her second release in Girish Dhamija’s Phhir (2009)

As an adolescent, Adah Sharma wanted to do too many things. She eventually found a profession where she could fulfill her dream.

That profession is acting â   where she daubs the greasepaint and gets to play varied characters that she once dreamt of being, be it a housewife or a model or an architect or a vet.

Coming from a non-filmi background, it wasnâ  t easy for Adah to get her foot in the door to Bollywood. Her father is in merchant navy and her mother is a Yoga instructor. Adah did her schooling from a convent school and graduated in psychology from Mumbai University.

Though Adah had been getting film offers for quite some time, things did not fall in place until Vikram Bhattâ  s '1920' in which she makes her Bollywood debut opposite Rajneesh Duggal.

Looking back, Adah sees her struggle from a philosophical perspective. She says she auditioned for various other projects but â  1920â   turned out to be her first film because that is how it was destined to be.

Adah Sharma made her cinematic debut in a horror flick 1920 in the year 2008. Her second film is Phhir not yet released. Nokia with Sharman Joshi,Olay natural white with Katrina Kaif,and Joy Alukkas with R.Madhavan are some her projects.
